Junior Associate Sailing Membership

All junior sailors aged 7 to 21 who are not children of current members must be Junior Associate Sailing Members. These $50 memberships allow sailors to participate in sailing events at CYC from the start of their membership through the end of the calendar year. This membership is required to attend any CYC sailing sessions.

Application Windows

• Winter/Spring Window: November 15, 2025 – May 15, 2026
  Ideal for Summer Sailing programs.
• Fall Window: August 1 – October 1, 2026
  Ideal for college and high school sailors during the school year.

Applications submitted within these windows are reviewed on the third Wednesday of each month.

Application Process (Step-by-Step)

1. Complete your Junior Sailing Application online.
2. Allow 1–30 days for approval.
3. Watch for your official acceptance letter via mail & email.
4. Once accepted, pay your membership fee and enroll in your desired class or program.

⚠️ Important: Sailors may only attend or enroll in CYC events and programs after receiving their acceptance letter.

Summer Sailing Enrollment Timeline

(Applies only to Winter/Spring Window: Nov 15, 2025 – May 15, 2026)
