1853 Service Award
The 1853 Service Award is given to recognize those individuals or teams of individuals who exhibit above and beyond dedication in service to the clubs sailing series and regattas.
The 1853 Service Award is awarded at the discretion of the Sailing/Regatta Committee to a person or team of persons for outstanding service to sailing operations at the CYC It need not be awarded every year. It may be awarded posthumously to a person or team of persons who meet the criteria. It is in recognition of an extended period of service rather than one event or one season. It is limited to no more than one recipient in any year.
