The Carolina Yacht Club is proud to announce the visit of the America September 23rd through September 25th!  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to view a replica of the sailboat that won the first Americas Cup in 1851.   The Club is inviting the public to come visit the America on Friday, September 23rd, Saturday, September 24th and Monday, September 26th.  The Club will allow a limited number of non-member parking in it's parking lot on all days the America is open to the public.  Additional parking can be found in along the street.

The America is scheduled to arrive at daybreak from the ocean side and enter the waterway through Masonboro Inlet.  That is subject to change based on weather and their schedule to the north of us.

The public schedule is listed below.  The presentation on Saturday at 7:30 pm will take place in the downstairs ballroom of the main clubhouse.  Limited seating is available.  A sail aboard the America requires a ticket that can be purchased from the America website here,  Tickets ARE SELLING OUT so if you are thinking of a sail aboard the America, purchase tickets NOW!
