Participants that haven’t already joined must fill out a JASM Proposal form and pay a $50 membership dues if approved in order to participate in CYC HS Sailing.  This membership runs from January 1 to December 31 each year.  You may fill out the proposal form here:    Jr. Sailing Member 
 
NOTE: JASM members are eligible to participate in all coached and non-coached sailing events for the entire year! 
Weekday Practice: 4:30 – 6:30 (Wednesday dates shown below – Thursday practices are the next day) Rigged and ready by 4:30!
Saturday Practice: Wind/Weather dependent. All team members 
AdHoc Parent Driven Practices: When available
 
Schedule: 
Fall: 
August 26th, September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, October 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, and November 4th (11 practices)

• 1 Saturday race practice (3-4 hours session) All High Schools attend. Pizza will be provided!

  • Or a scheduled race day with teams from other schools that are invited to race with us at CYC.

Winter:

• November 5th – March 2nd

• CYC Coach 1 time per month November – February as schedule permits.  Parent/Captain should work with CYC to work out staff availability

 Spring:

• March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, April 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
  (9 days)

• 1 Saturday race practice (3-4 hours session) All High Schools attend. Pizza will be provided!

  • Or a scheduled race day with teams from other schools that are invited to race with us at CYC. 

Total Price: $802 plus $200 security deposit

420 Ad Hoc / Charter use: Included in deposit and is refundable provided no damages to 420’s.

CYC will offer the following payment plan for sailors:

• $601 Due by the first practice, August 25th, which includes $401 for the instruction + $200 Charter / Damage Deposit
• Remainder of $401 due by March 1st 2021
